Build your first automation before you leave the room.
Our AI Automation with Power Automate training is a full-day hands-on session where participants build and deploy a real automation during the day. No coding required. Every participant leaves with a working automation saving them time from the following morning.
From fundamentals to a deployed automation.
The Power Automate training covers the full journey from platform fundamentals to AI Builder integration, approval workflows, document automation, and deploying a live automation during the session.
Power Automate Fundamentals
We introduce the Power Automate platform, covering flows, triggers, actions, and connectors. Participants learn the core concepts and interface before moving into hands-on workflow building.
AI Builder Integration
We cover Microsoft AI Builder, showing participants how to add AI capabilities to their flows including document processing, form recognition, text classification, and prediction models without writing any code.
Approval and Notification Workflows
Participants build approval workflows that route requests, notify the right people, and track outcomes automatically. Common use cases include purchase approvals, leave requests, and document sign-off processes.
Document and Data Automation
We train participants to automate document creation, data extraction, and file management tasks. Participants build flows that extract data from emails and documents and populate spreadsheets or databases automatically.
Email and Teams Automation
We cover automating email processing, Teams notifications, and communication workflows. Participants build flows that respond to emails, create Teams messages, and trigger actions based on incoming communications.
Monitoring and Error Handling
We teach participants how to monitor their flows, handle errors gracefully, and build reliable automations that continue to work without manual intervention. Includes flow analytics and performance tracking.
From opportunity mapping to live deployment.
Automation Opportunity Mapping
Before the session we work with participants to identify the three to five manual processes in their role that are best suited to automation, so the training is focused on their actual work tasks.
Environment Preparation
We ensure every participant has access to a Power Automate environment before the session and that the necessary connectors and permissions are in place so the day is spent building, not troubleshooting access.
Morning Foundations Module
The day opens with a focused foundations module covering the Power Automate interface, core concepts, and the AI Builder capabilities. This gives participants the knowledge they need before building their own flows.
Guided Flow Building
Participants build their first automation during a guided exercise, following along with the facilitator to create a working flow from scratch. The exercise uses a real business scenario relevant to their role.
Independent Build Session
In the afternoon, participants build their own automation for one of the processes they identified in the pre-session mapping. Facilitators provide individual support and guidance throughout.
Deployment and Documentation
Each participant deploys their automation to their live environment before the session ends and documents it for future maintenance. They leave with a working automation and the skills to build more.
Power Automate results for UK business teams.
Property Management Company
An operations team was spending 8 hours per week manually processing maintenance requests, routing them to contractors, and chasing updates. The process was entirely manual and prone to delays.
Full-day Power Automate training delivered to 6 operations staff. Each participant built an automation during the session. Maintenance request processing time reduced from 8 hours to 45 minutes per week. Zero missed requests in the following quarter.
Finance Team
A finance team was manually processing purchase order approvals via email, which caused delays, lost approvals, and no audit trail. The process involved 4 people and took an average of 3 days per approval.
Purchase approval automation built during the training session. Approval time reduced from 3 days to 4 hours. Full audit trail created automatically. Finance team built 3 additional automations in the month following training.
HR Department
An HR team was manually onboarding new starters, sending welcome emails, creating accounts, and chasing managers for equipment requests. The process took 2 days of HR time per new starter.
New starter onboarding automation built during training. HR time per new starter reduced from 2 days to 2 hours. Automated notifications sent to IT, facilities, and line managers. New starter experience improved significantly.
Stop doing manually what AI can do automatically.
